Wine Tasting Day - Overview and Cost
Location - Local Andaluz farmhouse, Parque Natural de los Alcornocales (Natural Cork Forest Park), Bay of Gibraltar, 20 mins drive from Gibraltar
Duration - Approximate 3 hours
This wine tasting experience allows you to learn about the Spanish wine culture, particularly to recognise and express the qualities and characteristics of Spanish wines.
A wine connoisseur of international recognition will present the methodology of wine tasting, and offer a special selection of wines from the most famous wine producing regions of Spain including:
- La Rioja
- Ribera del Duero
- Rias Baixas/li>
- Rueda
- Jerez and Manzanilla de Sanlúcar
Activities include:
- Introduction to the basic concepts of wine tasting
- The different regions and wines of Spain
- How to combine food and wine
SPECIAL NOTES
The program can be offered as a half-day afternoon event or as an early evening event. This is a basic Spanish wine tasting course. We can also offer a course for specific regions, or more advanced wine tasting courses.
